"On Quincy Bay," an architectural commission completed in 1996, is located at the Simon C. Fireman Imaging Center for Women, at Quincy Hospital in Quincy, MA. The source of the imagery in this piece is Quincy Bay, the geographic focus of the historic seaport and shipbuilding center. The beautiful bay and the nearby marshes provide habitat for many species of birds and fish. The artwork is composed of free-edge glass panels, suspended in a niche in the wall of the reception and waiting area.
