"Landscape Frieze" was installed in 1990 at the North Cambridge Senior Center in Cambridge, MA. The site is a heavily used activity center for the elderly, within a newly renovated space which enlarged the Senior Center. The users of the space made a request to the Cambridge Arts Council for a piece of permanent artwork for the new space which would enliven and activate it. This work was funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Arts Lottery Fund and matching grants from the North Cambridge Stabilization Committee and the North Cambridge Business Association.
