"Glass Columns with Pink" was installed in 1988 at the Millers River Apartments for the Elderly. This is the largest public, subsidized housing complex in the City of Cambridge, with over 450 units. The glass piece is situated at the end of a 122' long corridor, which is a link between two sections of the building. It creates a sense of place in the lobby near the entrance and the elevator, as well as giving a visual focus to the tenants while they walk down the corridor. This piece was funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Arts Lottery Fund and a matching grant from Draper Labs in Cambridge, MA.
